About Aetherstars

A place for games to live.

Aetherstars is a game launcher and distribution platform built for games made with Godot.

Whether you're an independent developer creating your first game, a small studio building your next project, or an established studio bringing a new title to players, Aetherstars is built to give your game a place to be discovered.

We believe games should be judged by what they are, not by how much someone can spend to make them visible.

A different kind of game platform

Aetherstars is designed around a simple idea:

Put games first.

Developers can submit their Godot games to Aetherstars, where players can discover, download, and play them through the platform.

There are no paid placements competing for attention. No advertising network built into the platform. And developers don't receive behavioral analytics about the people playing their games through Aetherstars.

Just games, creators, and players.

What we believe

Open source first

We chose Godot for a reason.

Godot is open source, community-driven, and free to use. It gives creators an accessible way to build games without being locked into a proprietary engine.

Aetherstars is built around that same appreciation for openness.

For now, Aetherstars accepts games made with Godot 4.7.1. As the platform evolves, supported Godot versions may evolve with it.

Privacy by default

Games should be fun. Your data shouldn't be the product.

Aetherstars is built within the privacy principles of Jullow.

We don't sell personal data. We don't build advertising profiles. We don't provide developers with player behavioral analytics, gameplay tracking, or personal account information simply because someone plays their game through Aetherstars.

Your Aetherstars account belongs to you.

Your gameplay doesn't become a data source for someone else.

Privacy by Jullow.

Creators over advertising

Aetherstars isn't built around paid placement.

A developer shouldn't have to buy visibility just to have their game seen.

A solo developer and a large studio can both submit their games. What matters is whether the game meets the requirements of the platform.

We review games because we care about the experience we're putting in front of players, not because we want to decide which creator has the biggest budget.

Built to grow

Aetherstars is starting with Godot games, but we're building for something much bigger.

The library will grow.

More creators will join.

More games will find their way onto the platform.

And as Aetherstars grows, our goal is to keep the principles that made it worth building in the first place.

A platform can be massive without becoming impersonal.

Built within the Jullow ecosystem

Aetherstars is a project within the Jullow ecosystem.

Jullow establishes the ecosystem-wide principles and policies that apply across its projects, including the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.

Aetherstars also has additional rules specific to the platform, including the Aetherstars Developer Agreement.

When you use Aetherstars, the Jullow policies apply alongside any Aetherstars-specific policies.

For anyone who makes games

Aetherstars isn't only for indie developers.

It's for anyone who makes games with Godot.

You might be building your first game alone.

You might be part of a small studio.

You might be an established studio with years of experience.

Wherever you are, if your game meets the requirements, there's a place for it here.

And if you're here to play, there's always something new to discover.

Make games. Play them. Keep going.
